How we are becoming a net-zero carbon company

As a digital company, we recognise the potential of connectivity and digitalisation in meeting the urgent call for climate action. This has sparked our aspiration and journey towards becoming a net-zero carbon company by no later than 2050, in line with the aspiration set for the mobile sector by GSMA.

To reach our goal, we are identifying our climate-related risks and opportunities while introducing circular economy solutions. We are also enhancing our emissions reporting approach by adopting the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-Related Disclosures (TCFD).

Advancing To Zero

The Axiata Net-Zero Roadmap is the culmination of a decade-long journey in environmental management. From the exploration of low-impact materials in constructing our telco towers, our efforts now span the entire breadth of our business presence.
